A: Not necessarily. The reason for selecting one of our Access Control Systems is for convenience and security. If the Gates are closed and a visitor arrives contact can be made from the Gate - Entrance to the House. The following options are available;
a) Basic Intercom; This is a One-Button Intercom System (Audio communication linked to a Telephone Hand-Set in the House). By pressing a key on the Telephone Hand-Set, the Gate/s can be opened and closed.
b) Intercom/Digipad; All as above, with the added facility of a Digital Code-Lock. The Digital Code-Lock allows access to anyone given the four-digit code, such as a |

c) Intercom/Video; All as the above Basic Intercom, with the added facility of a Video Camera. This system is ideal for situations where the Gate/s cannot be seen from the House. The Telephone Hand-Set has a Black and White or Colour TV Monitor, which activates when the call is answered from the Intercom at the Gate/s. This enables you to see who is at the Gate/s before allowing access. |
